Description

During the period of clandestine work, the Sha brothers and close relatives gathered once in Shanghai. By this time, the second brother, Sha Wenqiu, had already died as a martyr in Guangzhou in 1928, and the youngest, Sha Wenduo (Jitong), had passed away in Yan’an during the Rectification Movement in 1944. Only three of the five brothers remained.
